After graduating college in the nation's capital, Washington, DC, I decided to defer graduate school and take a gap year. It was by far one of the best things I've ever done and thankfully my parents came around the idea and supported my plans to travel, take classes, and backpack South East Asia (#FelisagoestoSEA). Throughout the year, I journaled and documented my travels on Instagram and received inquiries regarding travel destinations, things to-do, and foods to eat. Now, I'm going to share with you all the tips, tricks, and guides I know. I hope you find this helpful!

Time for some HOT POT inside an IGLOO!! This is not a joke, we ate hot pot inside an IGLOO. We had to keep our hats on while we ate so the condensation wouldn't drip onto our hair and some pots wouldn't boil because it was too cold. But don't worry, the igloo didn't melt ⛄️💦 #shangrila #icebar #igloo #foodie #travel #harbin #FelisagoestoChina
