One of the highlights during my trip to Seoul, Korea was wearing a hanbok, traditional dress, in Gyeongbokgung Palace. Got to check this off the bucketlist and feel like a princess!
There are many Hanbok rental stores near Gyeongbokgung and I chose the one that was closest to the Palace as it was rather cold out. For 10,000KRW, I got to rent the hanbok for 2 hours which was plenty of time to tour and take photos inside the Palace.
TIP: If you wear a hanbok, the Palace entrance fee 5,000KRW is waived.
From the plethora of choices, I decided to go with a baby pink dress and a bright blue top. Since we arrived in the afternoon at 3:00pm, and with the Palace closing its gates at 4:30pm, there were not as many options as I hoped but I'm glad I got to chose this pairing.
Hope this inspired you to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace and wear a hanbok to feel like absolute royalty for the day!
