In the spirit of International Women's Day, I've joined forces with the fierce and fabulous Charlotte to collaborate on black&white monochrome. Charlotte and I cannot be more different - yet by collaborating in this theme, we bridge beyond our geographies and backgrounds by accentuating our differences in interpretation and aesthetics. Take a look on our interpretations. All outfit details are below.
Staying true to my day job, I took this black&white monochrome theme with a corporate twist. With International Women's Day, I "lean-in" with a boardroom outfit with my favorite LOFT tweed jacket (similar). This is a very comfy piece to wear all day in the office, unlike other stiff blazers, and still dressy enough to meet C-suite clients. I add a little bling with a collar-necklace from Forever21 (similar) to break the monochrome. Links to outfit details are below.
Charlotte is based in Greece and her interpretation of black&white monochrome was fun but not surprising at all. She styled her look with a black top and a ruffled, white-tiered skirts, that reflects her fun and outgoing personality. Although our styling perspectives are different, we are definitely speaking the same language. Fashion transcends. Read more about Charlotte here: www.charlotteniki.blogspot.gr
